{Beggs Family} Party of 7

So guess what?
We are pregnant.

If you have been following me for any length of time you are well aware that we have been trying to have another baby since Ramsey was born. With us nursing for so long my cycle didn't start until Ramseys was almost one, then it was irregular with a few let downs along the way. (All documented here) A good friend of mine reminded me to calm myself down and let it go. It will happen. So I did. I knew if there was any chance in us doing this again I would have to calm myself down. Its hard to when you have a self proclaimed time limit on this thing. (We decided if weren't pregnant by the end of 2015 we would be done, done.)

Enter Toddler Tantrums. (Yes they are capitalized because it should be!) When Ayden started his 5th year in little league and then was selected for his age group to play for the All Stars, things got a little tricky with the toddler. Trying to keep him entertained, happy and safe while trying to keep up with Ayden playing ball was very difficult. I am so very thankful I had my moms hands and sometimes a few other hands to help but it was still a new situation I hadn't thought was going to occur. With this new revelation I had, I talked to BJ about us being done, done. We discussed pros and cons and had decided that we would call our family complete. I knew that Ayden was only going to be more involved with ball (among many other things) and that Ramsey would be getting older and easier to manage, did I really want to go through this again? With a toddler and newborn? Nope. I surely did not. (Remember the Toddler Tantrum post? If not read it HERE)

(Sorry, I seriously couldn't resist!)

A few days (More like almost a week) before my period was "due" I started having cramps, like "Im fixing to start so come on, lets get this over with" kind of cramps. for 4 days. No period. I was also extremely emotional, which is normal for me right before I start my period, but not lasting a few day. Still no period. So while I was at home during lunch I took one of the MANY Wondfo HCG (pregnancy) test, laid it on the sink and walked back into the kitchen to eat my lunch and work on the blog. Right before I ran out the door heading back to work I thought.. "crap, let me throw that test away or BJ will see it and will confirm my craziness!"
Ha! I picked it up, did a double take and said.. out loud… "You have got to be f*cking kidding me!" I laughed. Then I cried. For 2 days. Damn Hormones.

So several, and I mean SEVERAL pregnancy test later, we have the due date of 2/17/2016.

Now having read that your thinking… "So are you happy or not!?" Oh we are thrilled! It was a little unexpected and reminded us that we are not in the drivers seat when it comes to things like this, which we knew from Ramsey. Even though I am scared to death (seriously. we are officially outnumbered on a daily basis here) I am thankful and feeling very blessed since I have had my fight with secondary infertility. Every child is a blessing and this one will certainly complete this family. Thank god we bought a mini van.

*I will be posting weekly bump updates every wednesday with a belly bump picture. I am very excited about this part because this is something I have never done. *

How far along?
8 Weeks (Size of a Raspberry)

Total weight:

158lbs (I aint even scared to post that.)

Maternity clothes?
I have wore a few items from my maternity collection but only for comfort. I have plenty of yoga pants and big, comfy t shirts to help the "fat days"

Stretch marks?

Ugh, Please. Ive had them suckers since Ayden.

Just fine, thank god. I have been exhausted. I think it gets worse with every pregnancy. Well, DUH! Because you already have littles to raise.

Best moment this week:
My Appt on Thursday(today) and hitting 8 weeks(yesterday)!

Miss Anything:
My energy.

Have you told family and friends:

Oh course the first person I told was BJ. The second was my mother, duh. We then told BJs family, the boys and a few friends. As far as social media goes, SURPRISE!

Nope, still too early. Unless you count gas. then yes. lots of movement.

Food cravings:

Bagel with strawberry cream cheese. YUM!

Anything making you queasy or sick:

Everything that isn't a bagel with cream cheese. Ha. No, seriously I don't think I have ever had this symptoms before. I remember being very tired early pregnancy with Ayden. I remember food aversions for the first month or so with Ramsey but this time around I am actually queasy most of the day, then Ill be hungry, then Ill feel really full, then hungry again then super queasy. That must be why I am so tired, I can't keep up with my food mood. THANKFULLY, no vomiting. Lets keep it that way. please.

Have you started to show yet:
Only if you count bloated-ness.

Gender prediction:
Um, really? A boy.

 Labor Signs:
N/A at this point.

Belly Button in or out?
In just like the grand canyon. My belly button does even know what "outtie" means.

Wedding rings on or off?

Wedding band stays on though the engagement ring has been off since the beginning of summer.

Happy or Moody most of the time:

A little of both. Pregnancy hormones are no joke. Seriously.

Weekly Wisdom:
Go to sleep as early as possible so you don't fall asleep at work.

We have never made it past week 7 and not brought a baby home.

Anything Extra?
We are team green this time around. For those of you that don't know what that is, its when you don't find out the sex until birth. WHY you ask? Because we can. Because this will be the last babe and honestly, it doesn't matter if its a boy or a girl. Because it will be the surprise of a lifetime.
